Makayla Garrett currently works in Human Resources for a restaurant software company in addition to pursuing her professional dance endeavors in Southern California, though she considers Williamsburg home. Prior to her current role, Makayla has been an Administrative Assistant and Operations Manager for arts non-profits and small businesses in Boston, MA. She is grateful for the opportunity to combine her non-profit experience with her passion for small businesses and the restaurant industry to promote economic development through the Williamsburg Downtown organization.
